HOW PACECRAFT™ WORKS
Run the protocol. Not the guesswork.
Exercise rehabilitation for POTS is well documented. The protocols specify what to do, for how long, and in what order. What they don’t come with is a way to follow them. Pacecraft™ runs the protocol with you — so you don’t have to track heart-rate zones, remember your week, or rebuild a schedule after a bad day.
01 — SAFETY FIRST
We check whether this is right for you first.
Before showing a single exercise, Pacecraft™ flags symptoms that need a clinician — not an app. It also screens for post-exertional malaise using the DePaul Symptom Questionnaire. If PEM is present, graded exercise does not begin; you receive pacing-oriented guidance and a clear explanation to bring to your clinician.
02 — YOUR PROTOCOL
Matched to a protocol, not a generic plan.
If graded exercise is appropriate, Pacecraft™ matches you to a published protocol based on function, upright tolerance, and available equipment. Start recumbent when needed, progress toward upright over months, and adjust individual movements for hypermobility or hEDS. Pacecraft™ doesn’t invent programs. It runs established ones as written.
03 — TODAY’S SESSION
Sessions that hold the details for you.
Open the app and it already knows today’s week, session, and phase. Pacecraft™ tracks the clock, shows your target zone or effort level, and can guide you on screen, out loud, or with a tap on your wrist. High contrast, large touch targets, and no vestibular-triggering motion keep the experience calm. Stop is always one tap away.
04 — A SCHEDULE THAT ADAPTS
A schedule that survives a bad week.
Miss a session and Pacecraft™ reschedules around it. Miss too much of a week and it repeats instead of advancing. Declare a rest period when you’re ill or flaring, and the protocol clock pauses. You don’t lose your place. You don’t have to start over.
05 — YOUR RECORD
Something to show your clinician.
Pacecraft™ keeps a record of completed and missed sessions, targets, symptom stops, and validated symptom scores over time. Export a clear PDF for your appointment. There’s no portal for your clinician and no account for them to create — the report is yours to share.
What Pacecraft™ is not
Pacecraft™ doesn’t diagnose, prescribe, or replace your care team. It helps you follow an exercise protocol accurately — one that should come from, or be reviewed by, a clinician who knows your case. Screening is a starting point for that conversation, not a substitute for it.
See which protocol fits.
The screening takes about five minutes. You can stop at any point, and nothing is submitted anywhere.
